Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your Nearli account and all associated data at any time, either directly inside the app or by contacting us.

How to delete your account in the app

    Open the Nearli app and sign in

    Make sure you are signed in to the account you want to delete.

    Tap your username in the top-right corner

    This opens the account menu.

    Select "Settings"

    Settings is listed in the account menu.

    Scroll to "Danger zone" and tap "Delete my account"

    This section is at the bottom of the Settings screen.

    Type your username to confirm and tap "Delete my account"

    Deletion begins immediately. You will be signed out and your account and all associated data will be permanently erased.

This action cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your account and all data are deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

What data are deleted and what are kept

Subscription & payment records Retained by Stripe Payment records are held by our payment processor (Stripe) for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations. Nearli does not store full card details.

Can't access the app?

If you are unable to sign in to request deletion yourself, email us at privacy@hitherlabs.com with the subject line "Account deletion request" and include your Nearli username. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
